Job Description:

We’re seeking a dedicated data entry operator cum office assistant to join our team at The Radha Krishan Co-Operative Labour & Construction Society Ltd.

As a data entry operator cum office assistant, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in our systems and ensuring that it is accessible and reliable for other departments. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that data integrity is maintained, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the organisation. The ideal candidate is an organised, efficient, and detail-oriented individual passionate about working with numbers.

Objectives of this role

Maintain and update employee records and documentation
Track daily attendance and manage leave records
Assist in payroll coordination
Handle HR documentation (offer letters, salary slips, etc.)
Perform general administrative and office work
Maintain reports and data using MS Excel
Support day-to-day office operationsInputting and updating data into systems and databases from various sources, including paper documents and digital records.
Ensuring the quality, consistency, and accuracy of data input.
Verifying and cross-checking the data accuracy to ensure no errors or discrepancies.
Perform regular data backups and quality checks to ensure security and prevent loss.
Assisting in retrieving and organising data for reports, audits, and other business needs.
Collaborating with other teams to resolve data-related issues and improve processes.
Generating data reports and summaries as required by management.
Maintaining data confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.

Required skills and qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar data-focused role.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and database management software.
Typing speed (Minimum 35WPM) and accuracy, with the ability to process large amounts of data efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Working knowledge with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Basic knowledge of databases and data management tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Certification in typing speed or data entry software tools.
Experience in data entry within a specific industry, such as Society, finance, or retail.
Basic understanding of data protection regulations and security protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
