Full job description

RIK Industries is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in Indian taxation, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting independently in a fast-paced manufacturing and E-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare Profit & Loss statements and monitor profitability against budgets and targets.
Handle GST, TDS, and income tax computations, filings, and reconciliations.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
Carry out stock reconciliation regularly, matching physical inventory with book records and resolving discrepancies.
Manage E-commerce settlement reconciliation (Amazon and other marketplace payouts) against sales and fees.
Oversee inventory and cost accounting in coordination with operations.
Maintain and monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, and consultants as required.
Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com); CA Inter or equivalent is an added advantage.
[5–8] years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or e-commerce.
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory compliances.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience with E-commerce / Amazon Seller Central accounting and reconciliation.
Knowledge of Zoho Books or other accounting software.
Experience managing or mentoring a small accounts team.
