As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional operations leader to build and manage our end-to-end business operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and results-driven General Manager – Operations to take complete ownership of our day-to-day business operations.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple moving parts simultaneously. You will be responsible for ensuring that every order is produced, quality checked, packed and delivered on time while driving operational excellence across the business.

You will work directly with the Founder and will oversee all operational functions including production, inventory, warehousing, dispatch, logistics, customer order fulfilment and process improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Manufacturing Management

Manage and oversee the entire production process from order placement to dispatch.
Lead and manage the Production Manager and production teams.
Ensure production timelines are met without compromising quality standards.
Plan and monitor daily production schedules.
Coordinate fabric, trims and production requirements with relevant teams.
Ensure quality control measures are implemented across all stages of production.
Resolve production bottlenecks and minimise delays.
Monitor production efficiency, wastage and operational costs.

Order Fulfilment & Dispatch

Ensure 100% order tracking from receipt to delivery.
Manage daily order fulfilment operations across all sales channels.
Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and within committed timelines.
Coordinate with courier and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
Monitor delivery performance and resolve fulfilment issues proactively.
Manage returns, exchanges and replacement processes efficiently.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

Monitor inventory levels and stock availability.
Implement systems for inventory tracking and stock reconciliation.
Ensure warehouse operations are organised and efficient.
Reduce inventory losses and improve stock accuracy.
Manage packaging material requirements and procurement planning.

Team Management

Lead and manage operational teams including Production, Dispatch, Warehouse and Operations Executives.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics across departments.
Conduct regular team reviews and provide training where required.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and operational excellence.

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable operational processes.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and profitability.
Implement systems to improve production planning and inventory management.
Build operational processes that support the company's growth plans.

Reporting & Business Operations

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
Track production, dispatch, returns and inventory performance metrics.
Work closely with the Founder on strategic planning and business expansion initiatives.
Ensure seamless coordination between Production, Customer Support, Marketing and Finance teams.
Take complete ownership of operational performance across the organisation.

You will be responsible for achieving:

98%+ on-time order dispatch.
Production timelines consistently achieved.
Reduced operational and production delays.
Improved inventory accuracy and management.
Reduced return and defect rates.
Efficient management of customer fulfilment timelines.
Increased operational productivity and cost efficiency.
Successful implementation of scalable operational systems and processes.
High-performing and accountable operational teams.

Requirements

7–12+ years of experience in Operations Management.
Prior experience working with fashion, apparel, retail, D2C or manufacturing businesses is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain and inventory management.
Experience managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to take complete ownership and drive execution independently.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Fashion and apparel manufacturing.
D2C and e-commerce operations.
Warehouse and logistics management.
Production planning and quality control.
Shopify or e-commerce order management systems.
Building and scaling operational processes for growing businesses.
