Job Summary
Task Force Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out to manage and supervise day-to-day site execution activities across commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements while coordinating effectively with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
The role requires strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out works, site coordination skills, and the ability to deliver projects within timelines and quality expectations.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Project Coordination
· Supervise and manage day-to-day interior fit-out activities at project sites, ensuring smooth execution of works as per approved project schedules.
· Execute works in accordance with GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, approved specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.
· Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
· Monitor site activities and ensure work progress aligns with project milestones and delivery commitments.
· Identify site constraints and proactively resolve execution-related issues to avoid project delays.
Interior Fit-Out Works Supervision
· Oversee execution of partitions, gypsum ceilings, flooring, painting, wall finishes, joinery, modular furniture installation, glass works, and finishing activities.
· Coordinate MEP activities with civil and interior works to ensure proper integration and project completion.
· Verify workmanship quality and ensure installations meet project specifications and approved standards.
· Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved shop drawings and construction details.
Quality Control & Compliance
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, approved materials, and project specifications.
· Monitor workmanship and implement corrective actions to address defects and non-conformities.
· Coordinate snagging inspections and ensure timely rectification and closure of observations.
· Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution and handover stages.
Material Management & Resource Monitoring
· Monitor site material requirements, consumption, storage, and utilization.
· Coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
· Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and project requirements.
· Ensure proper material handling, storage, and protection to prevent damage and wastage.
Project Monitoring & Documentation
· Track daily site progress and maintain accurate project records.
· Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), work status reports, material reports, and site documentation.
· Maintain records of site activities, inspections, measurements, approvals, and project correspondence.
· Report project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to the Project Manager.
Safety & Site Management
· Ensure strict adherence to site safety regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements.
· Conduct regular site safety checks and ensure the use of appropriate PPE by site personnel.
· Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
· Support implementation of HSE standards and safe work practices across all project activities.
Project Handover & Closure
· Assist in final inspections, snag rectification, and project close-out activities.
· Ensure all pending works are completed before project handover.
· Support preparation of handover documentation and as-built records.
· Coordinate with Project Managers and clients to ensure smooth project completion and handover.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out execution and site management.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, joinery, and MEP drawings.
· Good understanding of BOQs, specifications, project schedules, and construction methodologies.
· Strong site coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in fast-paced project environments.
· Strong focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD and project drawings.
· Familiarity with project reporting and documentation tools.
· Understanding of interior materials, joinery works, modular furniture installation, and MEP coordination.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
· Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
· 7–8 years of relevant experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out Projects.
· Proven experience in corporate offices, retail, hospitality, healthcare, educational, or commercial interior projects.
· Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
· Willingness to travel and work across project sites as required.
