Supervisor – Residence & Household Operations

Reporting To

Managing Director (MD)

Job Summary

The Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the MD's residence, ensuring that all household staff perform their duties efficiently. The role requires excellent coordination, planning, discipline, confidentiality, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill the MD's daily requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision

Supervise and manage all household staff, including:

Housekeepers

Domestic Servants

Drivers

Cooks

Allocate daily duties and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, and performance.

Ensure proper coordination among all household employees.

MD Support & Coordination

Take care of the MD's day-to-day requirements and ensure all tasks are executed promptly.

Coordinate appointments, meetings, travel plans, and personal schedules as instructed.

Ensure all arrangements are completed before the MD's arrival or as per instructions.

Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all personal and professional matters.

Visitor & Event Management

Manage and coordinate all visitors to the residence.

Maintain a visitor log and inform the MD or concerned person regarding scheduled and unexpected visitors.

Coordinate hospitality arrangements for guests.

Assist in planning and executing meetings, family functions, and other events at the residence.

Household & Facility Management

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of the residence.

Supervise maintenance work and coordinate with external vendors whenever required.

Monitor household inventory and ensure timely procurement of required items.

Report any maintenance or operational issues immediately.

Administration & Reporting

Maintain daily records of staff attendance and household activities.

Submit regular updates to the MD regarding household operations.

Ensure smooth coordination between household staff, vendors, and the MD's office.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

Graduate preferred.

3–8 years of experience in supervising household staff, hospitality, facility management, guest relations, or similar administrative roles.

Experience in managing high-profile residences or HNI households will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

As per the requirements of the MD and household operations. Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours whenever required.
