Job Description: HR Manager

Company: IBO INFOTECH
Location: Kochi, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Minimum 15 years in HR (both Recruitment and HR Management); at least 5 years in the IT industry
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Qualification: MBA in Human Resources (mandatory)
Salary: ₹50,000 per month + Incentives + Allowances
Travel: Willingness to travel across South India
Vehicle Requirement: Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving licences; must own at least one vehicle
Languages: Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu

Job Summary

IBO INFOTECH is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead the entire HR function, including recruitment, HR operations, policy development, compliance, training and development, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IT industry HR practices, labour laws, team management, and multi-location HR coordination across South India.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete recruitment lifecycle: manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction.
Design, draft, review, and implement company HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, and code of conduct.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory norms (central and state-level).
Manage day-to-day HR operations: attendance, leave, payroll inputs, performance management, promotions, transfers, and exits.
Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary matters, and exit formalities in a fair and compliant manner.
Develop and oversee Training & Development (T&D) programs, need analysis, training calendars, and effectiveness evaluation.
Build and lead the HR team; set clear goals, provide coaching, and monitor performance.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower needs, skill gaps, and succession planning.
Maintain accurate HR records, MIS reports, and dashboards for management review.
Drive HR initiatives related to engagement, retention, culture, and employer branding.
Travel across South India for branch HR reviews, audits, recruitment drives, training programs, and policy implementation.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR and people-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

MBA in Human Resources from a recognized institution (mandatory).
Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, including both recruitment and HR management roles.
At least 5 years of HR experience specifically in the IT industry.
Thorough knowledge of HR policies, practices, and Indian labour laws (recruitment, wages, PF, ESIC, gratuity, leave, POSH, etc.).
Strong expertise in Training & Development (T&D), competency mapping, and L&D planning.
Proven ability to create, write, and implement company policies and HR frameworks.
Excellent team management, leadership, and people-handling skills.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu (both spoken and written).
Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving licences.
Must own and be able to use either a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for official travel.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in a growing, multi-location organization with evolving processes.
Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ATS tools.
Willingness to take ownership of HR projects, audits, and compliance reviews across South India.
Candidates may be required to undergo an interview, case study or assignment, and background verification.
